Hamish & Andy Ultimate Japanese Wingman

Last month, Australia's dynamic comedy duo Hamish and Andy filmed some of episode three of their popular TV show "Hamish & Andy's Asia Gap Year" in downtown Shibuya, Tokyo. A segment of that third chapter is entitled "Ultimate Japanese Wingman" in which Hamish tries his best to find a new girlfriend for his buddy Andy. This hilarious skit starts out simple and cute but then snowballs right over the top!

"Radiohead brought foward the release of their new album after being forced to cancel an event in Tokyo because of police fears over crowd safety.

An enigmatic tweet posted by Radiohead which spread rapidly around the world has resulted in the cancellation of an event in Tokyo's due to the high volume of fans expected to attend.

The message, written in Japanese and posted on Twitter by the popular British band, read simply: “Hachiko Square Shibuya, 59 minutes 18 Friday.”

Somehow, I knew that this would happen. Well, to make up for all of this confusion, in addition to the moved-up release of their new album "The King of Limbs", Radiohead also posted a new music video called "Lotus Flower":

Aria Asia Live: 'Morning Sunshine'

In the spring of 2008, Aria Asia started out by playing solo violin in the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo. She quickly became very popular and has since worked with Do As Infinity and Japan's "Empress of Pop" Ayumi Hamasaki. Also, she will tour later this year with the world famous Kitaro. The below video features Aria Asia and her rock band in a recent live performance of "Morning Sunshine" in Tokyo:




Aria Asia's current band is Aria(violin), D・A・I (guitar), Acchi(bass) and DUCCI(drums). This group will appear today (Friday, July 24th) at the Fuji Rock Festival in the Gypsy Avalon starting around 7:00 pm. To find out more please visit the Aria Asia Official Site
