Tokyo 1947-1963 Washington Heights

After the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, the Americans left and the area become today's Yoyogi Park. Below is a photo of the Washington Heights area taken by Tim Stinson:

Wash Hts was my family's home for 2+ years, 1958-1960. Great memories & great friends made there, including Tim.

I lived there about a year 1963-1964. I was 8 years old with my older brother, sister and Father. Also a very special live in Japanese house keeper. a 24 year old attractive and very kind woman. An Angel. Our mother passed away the year before in the states. We moved to Kanta-Mura the new housing annex.
