Hong Kong Speed Dating "Dinner With Foreigners"
The folks over at HK Speed Dating are running a new green card speed dating campaign entitled "Dinner With Foreigners". The current exchange rate between the Hong Kong Dollar and US Dollar is 0.1288. So the price for speed dating women with this group is HK $4800 x 0.1288 = US $618.24. Oh, almost forgot, the women also have to be single. But, apparently, the foreign men do not have to be single and they get in free. Also includes a free dinner too. Sounds great!
Here is a recent news video about how all of this is now considered to be "disgusting":

Hong Kong Face Slimmer Demo Video
In this short Hong Kong Face Slimmer Demo Video, Hsiao Mi shows how to use this 2-in-1 face-lift and thin neck roller. This manual roller device is much easier to use than the Japanese mouthpiece face slimmer. The mouthpiece model requires one to get into a bathtub, put the slimmer in their mouth and then repeat all of the Japanese vowels "a i u e o" 『あ い う え お』 over and over for three (3) minutes a day everyday for the rest of one's life.
Nope.
This one is much easier to use.
This hand-held wheel type slimmer doesn't require any talking nor getting into a bathtub as one should just simply roll it around their face for about 10 minutes or so each night. It also costs less and while using it one can relax and watch TV at the same time. Apparently by doing this one can lift up their face and thin out those horrible double chins. Check out how Hsiao Mi starts using it when she says "Look Me":

"Rocketeer": Award Winning Hong Kong TVC
"Rocketeer" is a very creative, funny and award-winning Hong Kong television commercial for NutriGreen's LDF Cordyceps Health Supplement:
According to the main actor in this commercial, Jayson Li:
"The campaign I worked on for NutriGreen's LDF Cordyceps Health Supplement (《綠養坊》LDF純冬蟲夏草) was launched not too long ago. The "Rocketeer" campaign consists of a television commercial, directed by Chan Man Chung, and a print ad with the production house being Film Factory and the advertising agency being Leo Burnett Hong Kong. The TVC was recently featured in the Chinese language newspaper Ming Pao (明報), Attuworld Nederland and on Virgin Radio Toronto. The TVC was also recently screened at the Cannes Lions 58th International Festival of Creativity which was held at the Palais de Festivals in Cannes, France."
Note: This commercial was also selected as a winner in the 2011 Spikes Asia - Asia's Creative Advertising Festival and Awards.
Brief Explanation:
"Most people in Hong Kong live a crazily hectic life - long working hours, overtime on weekends, and a packed social life. Most of them feel drained before they even get up in the morning. To dramatize this phenomenon, this commercial shows how a businessman loses his energy before he even gets to work. The answer of course, is Nutrigreen LDF Cordyceps, a health supplement that helps people maintain their energy level throughout the day".
