Trailer for Jackie Chan's "Chinese Zodiac" Movie

Trailer for Jackie Chan's Chinese Zodiac Movie

Here is a new trailer for Jackie Chan's upcoming film "Chinese Zodiac." This film is about a man who searches the world for 12 bronze heads of the animals from the Chinese zodiac. Written, directed, produced, and action choreographed by Jackie Chan. "This will be my last big action movie," the BBC quoted Chan as saying at a news conference in Cannes. "I don't just want to be an action star, I want to be a true actor. So for the last 10 years I've done other films like The Karate Kid, where I'd rather play an old man," he said. Check out this action-packed trailer:

Japanese Girls Go Wild Over Monk Hunks

Japanese Girls Go Wild Over Monk Hunks

Via The Japan Times May 17, 2012

Recently many young Japanese girls have become attracted to some good-looking young monk hunks in Japan. A monthly art gallery show produced by the monastics called “Be Healed by Young Monks” is attended by many eager young women in their 20s and 30s. Also a book published in March entitled "The Illustrated Picture Book of Beautiful Young Monks" has become quite popular and indicates a strong desire among young Japanese women to really get to know their manly monks in "the Biblical sense".

Japanese Buddhist monks may not want to be so desired, but they are very active in raising awareness and interest in Buddhism. Some have become very creative in this effort as can be seen in the below video of Kansho Tagai, the rapping monk:

Why, China Why? Because China #6

A few months ago we investigated a photo of a woman with a burning cigarette mounted to her glasses and a burning cigar sticking out of her ear. That picture was explained by it's source as a kind of Chinese alternative medicine. OK, fine. Whatever.

Today we have discovered the below photo and are once again asking "Why, China Why?":

Why, China Why? Because China #6

The source of this photo turns out to be a Japanese blog post about a trip to Mongolia, which is technically a part of China. But the blogger does not offer an explanation for why one truck was carrying ten trucks on local roads and highways too! The Japanese post only talks about how doing something like this would be impossible in Japan etc. Therefore once again we have no other choice but to answer this with "Because China".
