NMA TV On Kim Jong Un's 'New' Wife

NMA TV On Kim Jong Un's New Wife

The past few weeks or so have been filled with speculation and theories about Kim Jong Un's "mystery woman" and his "new" wife. She was previously misidentified as Hyon Song Wol of the electronic music group Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble which is known for some popular hits including "Excellent Horse-like Lady" and "I Love Pyongyang". However, that rumor was not true as Kim Jong Un Didn't Marry the North Korean Pop Star Behind 'Excellent Horse-Like Lady'.

North Korea's state media announced on July 25th that The Great Eater's wife is actually Comrade Ri Sol-ju who is another popular singer of the DPRK. Apparently, they have been married for three years or so and may have one child. So the mystery of it all continues to be slowly revealed.

John Lennon & George Harrison Japan 1966

John Lennon & George Harrison Backstage Japan 1966

Here is a rare photo of John Lennon and George Harrison tuning up their guitars backstage in Tokyo, Japan in 1966. From June 30 to July 2 of that year, the Beatles performed five concerts at the Nippon Budokan indoor arena in Tokyo. Of course, all the shows were sold out and the live television broadcasts captured an incredible 60% audience rating. These concerts were the first musical events ever held at the Budokan arena, which was originally dedicated for the competition of traditional martial arts. These landmark shows also inspired many young Japanese to start playing guitars and the biggest ever Japanese rock band revolution soon followed. That movement forever changed the direction of the Japanese popular music scene.

Perhaps the above photo was taken prior to the start of this show:

Here is a beautiful photo of the Red Beach near Panjin City, China. The beach is part of the Liao River delta about 30 kilometers southwest of the city. The Red Beach gets its name from the seablite plants that start growing green in Spring and gradually turn red and then become a bright vivid red color in Autumn. Most of this beach is closed to the public as it is a part of the Shuangtai Hekou Nature Reserve. Only a small section is open to tourists who visit this popular natural attraction in the Liaoning Province of China.
