Tommy Lee "Net Alien" Jones Returns to Japan!
Last year we thought that Tommy Lee Jones had done his final Japanese TV commercial for Suntory's Boss Coffee. But, now, SURPRISE! We were wrong and Tommy Lee "Net Alien" Jones has returned to Japan to star in this new funny WTF Japan Boss coffee commercial!
In this chapter of the ongoing seven-year saga, TLJ is working as a pizza delivery guy slowly flying through the neighborhood. He finds the apartment for the pizza delivery with his super human night-vision eyesight. Then suddenly Tommy Lee gets spotted by a guy (comedian Hiroki Konno) with a digital camera who just took a video of him in action. Then that video of TLJ as the flying "Space Alien Pizza Delivery Guy" gets uploaded to Youtube. The video goes viral and becomes very popular in Japan and then the rest of the world.
A few days later, Tommy Lee is going on another delivery and he's followed by a crowd of netizens with smartphones and cameras ready! The "Space Alien Pizza Delivery Guy" then tries to frighten the crowd but it doesn't work and they say "ooooh" and "aaaah". The rest of the commercial features a popular "Handstand Cat" so check it out!

Ichiro Suzuki's Baseball Throwing Demo Videos
If you know anything about baseball, then for sure you know that superstar Ichiro Suzuki is one of the very best players ever in the history of the sport. He may also be the very best outfielder to ever play the game as his ten consecutive Gold Glove awards are a strong testament to his excellent play in the outfield.
Ichiro may also have the most accurate throwing ability as well. Recently Sato Pharmaceutical Co., the makers of a popular health tonic or "Genki Drink" called "Yunker", made some cool TV commercials from a series of his amazing baseball throwing demo videos:
The below video shows some incredible highlights of the making of the above TV commercial:

Hilarious 7up Chinese TV Commercial
Recently, the State Administration of Radio Film and Television in China banned, among other things, time travel on TV. Perhaps this hilarious WTF Chinese TV commercial for 7up had something to do with that WTF decision:

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — In an apparent first, North Korea — a country that struggles to feed its 24 million people — has aired a beer commercial on state television.
The advertisement, which lasted nearly three minutes after a news program on Thursday, showed a grinning Korean man with sweat on his face holding a glass of beer, with a caption that read, "Taedong River Beer is the pride of Pyongyang."
The commercial said the beer relieves stress and improves health and longevity. It also showed images of a pub it said was in the capital of Pyongyang, filled with people drinking."

Early Japanese Tentacle Sex TV Commercial
It is well known among today's Gaijin gods, and some goddesses, that Tentacle Sex was invented by manga artist Toshio Maeda.
However, today I just discovered an old 80's era Japanese TV commercial for Shin Piro Ace athete's foot ointment that, possibly, could have been an early influence on Maeda's work:
You can see two short interviews with the master himself, Toshio Maeda: Hentai Pioneer and Hentai Pioneer II. And be sure to see more at TokyoDV Video Log
