Meanwhile Sony Pwns Xbox w/ New PS4

Yesterday at the E3 press conference, basically Sony took over the gaming world with the announcement of the all new Playstation 4 to be sold for $100.00 less than Microsoft's new Xbox One. In addition to that lowball, Sony threw Microsoft a wicked curve with their announcement that the PS4 will support used games.

"When a gamer buys a PS4 disc, they have the rights to use that disc, resell it, lend it to a friend or keep it forever," said CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Jack Tretton.

To show that they really mean it, or to add insult to injury, Sony released this Official PlayStation Used Game Instructional Video:

Unless you've been living in a North Korean concentration camp, within this past week or so you've probably seen many photos of Dennis Rodman and his new BFF Kim Jong Un. The two were brought together in Best Korea for an exhibition basketball game with two Americans playing on each team alongside the North Koreans which ended in a 110-110 tie.

Well now the official NKBA North Korean Basketball Association has put together a preview of the upcoming Kim Jong Un & Dennis Rodman North Korean Basketball Video Game entitled "Supreme Hoops". Check it out:

1996 Mario Kart 64 Japanese TV Commercial

Nintendo first developed and released its Mario Kart マリオカート video game as a spinoff from the Super Mario series starting in 1992. Since then there have been nine different types of Mario Kart games published. Nintendo's current game in this series is Mario Kart 7. Just uploaded the other day, here is a nostalgic Japanese TV commercial from 1996 for Nintendo's Mario Kart 64 video game:

Lollipop Chainsaw Video Game Trailers

From Kodakawa Games, Grasshopper Manufacture and Warner Brothers Games here are the trailers for the upcoming worldwide release of the Lollipop Chainsaw ロリポップチェーンソー video game. This big-name game features a main character named "Juliet" who is a blonde-haired Japanese/American cheerleader/fighter with a wide array of attack weapons used to destroy zombies. One of her weapons is her boyfriend's decapitated head named "Nick" who is featured in the "Nick Popper," "Nick Toss" and "Nick Shoot" assault modes. Nick's head can also be put on a headless zombie to control it. Indeed, it is very possible that this game may turn out to be the funniest WTF Japanese street fighter ever released! Lollipop Chainsaw will be available from June 14, 2012. Be sure to watch these two brilliant trailers:

Japan's Horse Racing Dating Game

In an effort to get more Japanese herbivores interested in girls and gambling, the Japan Racing Association (JRA) just released it's free online horse racing dating game called My Sweet Umadonna - Me and You and our horse or My sweet ウマドンナ　～僕は君のウマ～. The title is a word play where UMA = "horse" and "Madonna"= "Madonna" or "The Virgin Mary" or "Dream Girl" or whatever. Anyway, it appears as though the objective of this game is to start a relationship with an anime character or fake girlfriend and then go to the horse races together.

PETA Attacks Nintendo's Super Mario

In recent news, PETA or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has labelled the popular iconic Super Mario character as a promoter of the fur industry! Apparently in Nintendo's new Super Mario 3D Land game Mario puts on a Tanuki suit and gains the power to glide. But PETA says that is some kind of animal abuse and it has even launched an online game called Mario Kills Tanooki:



Notice the incorrect spelling of Tanuki which clearly shows that PETA is wrong yet again!

Needless to say, this has created quite an uproar in mass media and all over the internet. Here is a clever animated response by NMA.TV:

Just released by Alcot, here is the official trailer for the upcoming Japanese video game: 幼なじみは大統領 "OSANANAJIMI HA DAITOURYOU" or "My Girlfriend is The President":



Well, I can "imagine" but I'm not exactly sure "how" this game is supposed to be played!?!?! Also, despite the fact that this video game will be sold "all over the universe" (i.e. in Japan only), somehow it appears as though some magical hero, a panda and some guy's young Japanese girlfriend will apparently save the world! YATTA!!!
