Yes, that headline is correct as a truckload of piglets overturned in Guiyang province in southwest China forcing highway police to chase after the escaped squealing swine. A truly hilarious modern-day episode of The Keystone Cops followed as the speedy piglets continued to evade the slow, dumbfounded police officers trying to apprehend them. Here is a very funny ITN news video of this comic chase scene:



Of course the police finally caught them, but they didn't go away quietly.

Last month, Australia's dynamic comedy duo Hamish and Andy filmed some of episode three of their popular TV show "Hamish & Andy's Asia Gap Year" in downtown Shibuya, Tokyo. A segment of that third chapter is entitled "Ultimate Japanese Wingman" in which Hamish tries his best to find a new girlfriend for his buddy Andy. Earlier this week, a computer security company known as Mandiant released a report (PDF) that alleges China's Military conducted numerous cyber attacks and committed grand theft of top secret data from many U.S government and U.S. companies' computer networks. The report claims that this blitzkreig originated from the Shanghai-based PLA Unit 61398 which is located inside this building:



So when some US reporters filmed pwned China's Top Secret Ministry of Hacking, hilarity ensued when some Chinese keystone cops started running after the reporters car while the reporters yelled "Keep driving! Drive away! Drive away!" Check out this funny video:

Bill Murray who is in Tokyo promoting a new movie told reporters about the incident. “I saw this man in the street running towards me with a bag in his hand. Then he suddenly stopped when he saw me. He asked me if I was Bob Harris, the character I played in Lost in Translation. I told him, ‘sure, why not’.

Then he started telling me how much he loved me and how great he thought I was.

“I was polite, I told him that was very nice of him to say. Then kind of out of nowhere, police showed up and tackled the man,” Murray said.

Vermillion Pleasure Night was a very funny, offbeat late-night TV comedy show that was so popular some DVDs of the show were released as well as a CD of the show's many soundtracks. In addition to that, a complete collection of all the Vermillion Pleasure Night show segments was released in early 2009. For a TV show that was only on the air for about a half year in 2000, that's really something special, indeed.

In this short skit, two beautiful Japanese "cooking teachers" ham it up while singing karaoke-style enka and showing us how not to prepare seaweed soup, pickles and curried rice on VPN's "Midnight Cooking" TV segment. This version includes English subtitles and will probably be taken down soon so check it out!

Yodeler Takeo Ishi Sings "New Bibi-chicken"

Well-known and loved for decades, the television/radio star yodeler Takeo Ishi is now going viral on the internets with this hilarious WTF and beautiful music video entitled: "New Bibi-chicken":



Ishi began yodeling as a student and practiced in the mountains of Japan. He joined the "Alpine Yodeling" club and wound up on Japanese TV in a short time. He then went to Switzerland and sang in a restaurant for tourists and was immediately hired. That was the beginning of a 20+ year singing career in Europe. Along the way he teamed up with master yodeler Franzl Lang and since then has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows throughout Europe. Now he is becoming very popular on the web. He lives in Germany with his family and is very highly regarded as an amazing talent in the genre of yodel music.

China Airways is a sponsor of the panda sanctuary at Cheng Du and they donated two business class seats for the transfer of Squee Squee to his new home. They decided that giving him and his caretaker passenger seating would be much safer than putting the panda in the cargo hold. Just over a week ago, Conan O'Brien discovered a blatant copyright infringement of his show's opening animation by a Chinese talk show known as “Da Peng’s Chatter.” Then Conan and his production team responded in a tongue-in-cheek comic style by showing the two opening sequences side by side and then claiming:

"What is that? That's insane. That's madness. And to make matters worse its a really weird show." And also "For years now China has been ripping off America with cheap knockoffs, right? ...Well China if you think you can rip off my show, I think I can rip off their show. And let's see how you like it."

Of course, the "Da Peng Chatter" team was watching and they did not get the "American Joke" so then they responded with this hilarious clip (click "CC" button for subtitles):
